fall in love, not in line.

Opt out of the stress of perfect and embrace a day that reflects what you love. Have some damn fun!

A small wedding (small is not a bad word around here) really opens up the possibilities for where you can have a heartfelt, intimate ceremony and a wild celebration with your favorite people.

Non-traditional is my jam.

Romantic black and whites, joyful candids. Film look, without the film cost. True colors, both visually and metaphorically. I’ll give enough direction to help you look your absolute best, but still feel like yourself.

I love the great outdoors, and I’m super at home figuring out oddball locations. Anything can be an adventure, if you look at it in the right light. Think your ideas might be too weird? I’ve photographed GWAR, you can not scare me.

a loose interpretation of elopements

You may be asking yourself, is what we’re doing even eloping, technically? Well… who the hell cares?

I’m not the word police. What I see as an elopement is a day built around intention, by couples who care more about meaning than tradition. Who march to the beat of their own drummer, or would maybe prefer a flute quartet instead. Who embrace the weird, the non-traditional, the things that make their hearts sing, even if nobody else gets it.

Elopement, microwedding, tiny wedding. These are the kind of gatherings I specialize in, whatever you want to call them.

you’re in the right place if…

  • you totally don’t care about what a wedding is supposed to be, and are just gonna get married however the hell you want to.

  • you’d rather capture spontaneous, honest, imperfect moments than fashion magazine style

  • you want a relaxed, laid-back wedding day, where you get to have fun.

  • you’re up for a little adventure, and maybe a little exploring weird spaces for portraits

  • you’re excited to share your day with the people (and sometimes dogs) you love most, because a family can be whatever you make it.

  • you want your photos to not just reflect how you looked, but how your day felt. to tell the whole story.

what’s included in every package:

Artful storytelling of your day. My photographic style is documentary with a touch of fine art, true to color, a little moody.

Custom location scouting if you need it, and recommendations to my favorite vendors.

Engagement session. They’re a great way to get to know each other, and to get comfortable with me and my camera. And it’s a time to document your love in some less fancy clothing.

Personalized timeline creation. Every wedding day is different, and I’ll help you to make the most of your time so that you can have the kind of experience you want.

Full resolution digital gallery, with so many photos. Seriously, you will not wonder why they aren’t more photos. I edit every image, and retouch a few key portraits (along with anything that you decide to print.)

Full printing rights to all of those photos, as well as access to professional prints. If you like, you can schedule an ordering appointment, and I can help you decide how you’d like to display your photos.

Albums and framed prints or canvases can be added to any package. Heirloom albums are designed by me! I have degrees in both Film and Graphic Design, and I mostly use them for good.
