Wildlings with Anna & Charlotte

My kid hears the phrase "we're going on an adventure" pretty regularly. Sometimes it's a serious adventure, like the time we drove to Disney, or hiked to a waterfall. Sometimes it's just a walk over the the Post Office. For Anna & Charlotte's session, we went on a butterfly hunt right in their grandma's backyard. Despite being a little drizzly, these two were up for some exploring.

I've been friends with their Momma a really long time, so I spent a lot of afternoons playing in the same backyard. They were every bit as wary of this little outbuilding as we always were.

Charlotte was starting to get a little suspicious about the lack of butterflies, so we tried looking in the woods.

Tossing walnuts turns out to be a very messy business.

The best part about doing a photo session in your backyard? When the kids are totally over it, you're only about five minutes from having them plopped back on the couch and coloring. Highly recommended.
